Formerly Adonix X3, Sage ERP X3 version 5 is the
fifth major version of this enterprise resource planning (ERP) software package
for mid-sized enterprises. It is being released in 2008 by the Sage Group in
35 countries. The system is represented in the US by Adonix, a Sage company
since 2005, dedicated to the North American ERP mid-market. ERP X3 is also distributed throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa, either with a direct presence or via Sage’s value-added reseller (VAR) channel. ERP X3 provides midsized businesses with integrated functionality for accounting and financial management, purchasing, inventory, sales, customer relationship management (CRM), and manufacturing. It offers both standard management features and process customization capabilities. The result is a range of configured offerings, covering the standard requirements of user industries, as well as being adaptable to specific organizations:
